A Chicago native and graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, she anchored and reported for NBC 5 (WMAQ-TV) and FOX 32 (WFLD-TV) in Chicago and KRIV-TV in Houston, and hosted afternoon drive on WGN Radio 720.
